The Middlefield Industrial & Commercial Association (MICA) was formed in 1999 with four companies based in Middlefield, OH. Membership has since grown well outside Middlefield, spanning from Toledo to Youngstown, Cleveland to Columbus, and everything in between.
MICA membership is the vehicle that provides Brakey Energy’s comprehensive energy management services to energy intensive Ohio businesses. Please view our ‘Services’ page for a more detailed description of the benefits of MICA membership.
The ideal candidate for MICA membership is an energy-intensive Ohio company served by a FirstEnergy (Ohio Edison, Illuminating Company, Toledo Edison) or AEP (Ohio Power, Columbus Southern) distribution service company. Our clients range in size from those who spend $5,000/month on energy to those who spend well over $1 million.
